Coy Shaffstall has dabbled in science for several years, but his true, natural talent lays in writing. He has written short stories starting at an early age when he would learn and use big words to show off for the adults. In fifth grade, Shaffstall created a pen-and-paper based space role-playing game and in high school, he wrote a novella about a fantasy adventure.

After a stint in the Navy that ended with an honorable discharge at the end of 2005, Coy Shaffstall began working for ThePowerXChange. They soon recognized his capabilities as a writer and put him to work on X-Ray Magazine, writing reviews for new tech gear that he used or found online.

When Shaffstall reads something he wrote in the past, he often casts it aside in pursuit of a better-written story. At Spider Trainers, this is exactly what’s needed: to continually improve the content for the clients whose professional visibility is in his hands.

Coy Shaffstall is currently working on a science fiction novel.
